Ahmed Tawfiq suffered a hamstring tear during his team's match against Al Merrikh in N'Tiou.

Dr. Mostafa El Menyir, head of the medical staff at Pyramids FC, reported that midfielder Ahmed Tawfik is suffering from a hamstring tear, which will keep him sidelined for several weeks.

El Menyir added that Tawfik sustained the injury during the match against Al Merrikh of South Sudan in Juba as part of the CAF Champions League, and underwent scans after the team's return to Cairo, which confirmed the hamstring tear.

The doctor indicated that the player will begin a rehabilitation program over the next three weeks, aiming to prepare him for a full return to the team.
