Mohamed El Shenawy, captain of Al Ahly and the Egypt national team, renewed his contract with the club this evening until the 2027-2028 season during a meeting with Dr. Essam Sarag, head of contracts, and Wael Gomaa, director of football.
El Shenawy expressed his great pride in the club and its management's appreciation, as well as his deep gratitude for the support of Al Ahly's loyal fans, whom he described as the "backbone and support" for the club and players. He emphasized that he and his teammates are fortunate to have these fans who always encourage them to double their efforts and achieve more victories and titles.
