Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, the head of Al Ahly, is looking to strengthen the midfield during the upcoming winter transfer window, aiming to find a new player for the number 6 position currently occupied by Marwan Attia, which would provide the team with additional options in this area.
Al Ahly is closely monitoring the duo from Wadi Degla and Petrojet to strengthen their midfield in January.
Degla and Petrojet Duo Under Observation
Several players have been presented to Al Ahly's coach recently, but the duo of Ibrahim Al-Bahensi, a midfielder from Wadi Degla, and Abdel Rahman El-Khamisi, a midfielder from Petrojet, have caught the attention of the Moroccan coach, who has requested to monitor their performances in the coming period before making a decision on signing one of them in January.
Ibrahim Al-Bahensi, 24 years old, has managed to score one goal this season after posting impressive numbers last season with 3 goals and 1 assist. He possesses the ability to shoot from long distances and find the back of the net, making him a candidate to strengthen Al Ahly's midfield.
On the other hand, Abdel Rahman El-Khamisi, 26 years old, has drawn attention with Petrojet during the current season thanks to his physical attributes, height, and speed, along with his ability to intercept the ball and disrupt opponents' attacks. These qualities align well with the requirements of playing as a defensive midfielder.
The Al Ahly coaching staff continues to monitor potential candidates to strengthen the team, preparing to finalize their needs during the winter transfer window and select the most suitable player to bolster the midfield in line with Hussein Amouta's tactical vision.
