Amouta considers making comprehensive changes to Al Ahly's lineup following a decline in performance.

Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, the head of Al Ahly, has made several adjustments to the lineup for upcoming matches as part of his efforts to correct the course and regain victories after some players' performances have declined recently.

Ammouta intends to exclude Imam Ashour, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, and Mounsif from the starting lineup due to their poor performances in previous matches, while giving opportunities to several players to intensify competition for starting positions.

El Shahat and Afsha the most prominent beneficiaries

The Al Ahly coach is expected to give more playing time to Hussein El Shahat, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, and Moroccan Sofiane Benjdida in the upcoming matches, at the expense of the trio Imam Ashour, Zizo, and Mounsif, as part of a rotation policy and to provide chances to the most prepared players.

Ammouta aims through these changes to enhance competition among players and motivate everyone to give their best in training and matches, especially after Al Ahly dropped several points at the start of their Egyptian Premier League campaign.

Al Ahly vs. Ugandan Kitar

Al Ahly is preparing to face Ugandan Kitar, scheduled for next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium, in the second leg of the 32nd round of the continental tournament, as the Red team seeks a positive result to secure their official qualification for the next round.

Al Ahly had won against Kitar with a score of 2-1 in the first leg held in Uganda, putting them in a strong position ahead of the return match in Cairo.
