The Burkinabe Football Federation has addressed the situation of the Stallions' delegation, which is still facing difficulties in reaching Buenos Aires, where Burkina Faso is set to face Argentina on October 4, 2026.

According to the FBF, the flight scheduled for September 30 was canceled without notice by the charter company, necessitating a revision of the travel plans. The Ministry of Sports, the FBF, and the Burkinabe embassy in Morocco are exploring several options to enable the delegation to continue its journey.

The FBF emphasizes that the travel delays have also raised concerns among the players. Sports Minister Annick Pikbougoum Zingué Ouattara, FBF President Oumarou Sawadogo, and the Burkinabe ambassador to Morocco Mamadou Coulibaly are personally involved in seeking a resolution.

At this stage, the FBF assures that it is committed to ensuring the Stallions' participation in this match and will provide updates on any significant developments regarding the situation.
