Towards His Call-Up in Upcoming Camps: Hamdani Monitors Bourbia's Brilliance

Young Algerian international player, Adil Bourbia, is attracting the attention of the national team’s coaching staff due to his impressive performance with Le Mans FC at the start of the current season. This comes despite his absence from coach Ibrahim Hamdani’s initial squad.

According to the website "Foot Mercato," the 21-year-old player could have joined the "Fennecs" squad during the international break in September, but the decision to keep him with the Olympic team was made after a consensus among the involved parties.

Bourbia has emerged as one of the best discoveries at the beginning of the season in Ligue 2, contributing in four matches with Le Mans by scoring two goals and providing two assists, which has kept him in the spotlight ahead of a potential opportunity with the senior national team.

The player captained the Olympic team during the last training camp, as the team prepares for an important period that includes two consecutive training camps during the current break.

The same source indicated that the senior team’s coaching staff sent a message of support to Bourbia in recent days, suggesting that his absence from the current squad does not mean the door is closed for him.

Bourbia is expected to continue working with the Olympic team, which faces significant challenges on the road to the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, which in turn qualifies for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
