Ali Benjelloun secured the presidency of the Wydad Fes Sports Association after receiving the support of attendees during the ordinary general assembly held this Saturday evening. He succeeds Mohamed Bouzouba, who resigned for personal reasons a few days ago, with everyone agreeing on the selection of the new president to lead the association.

Benjelloun's list was the only one to run for the presidency, making it easier for him to take on this responsibility, especially with the support he received from former president Mohamed Bouzouba, who decided to end his duties in the association.

Financially, participants in the general assembly reviewed the literary and financial reports for the 2025-2026 sports season, which showed a financial deficit of 50,327 dirhams, according to the figures presented during the meeting.

According to the data in the financial report, total expenses reached 21,138,331 dirhams, while revenues did not exceed 21,080,004 dirhams, resulting in the financial difference recorded in the previous season.

The members of Wydad Fes are looking forward to a new phase under Ali Benjelloun's leadership, as they aim to create a new dynamic in managing the association and strengthen the foundations of administrative stability in line with the club's ambitions.

The main challenges facing the new president and his team include continuing on the path set by the previous board led by businessman Mohamed Bouzouba, maintaining the achievements made, while working to improve the management of the association's affairs and achieve positive results in the upcoming phase.
