Bantaloni: “Amoura is a key and essential player for Nice”
Nice coach Olivier Bantaloni praised Algerian international Mohamed Amine Amoura after his standout performance in the match against Lille, part of the fifth round of Ligue 1, which ended with Nice winning 2-1.
Amoura delivered an impressive performance, contributing to Nice's first goal in the 22nd minute, and then returned in the 67th minute to score a stunning goal, marking his first goal with his new club.
Amoura received a high rating of 8.2 and was awarded the Man of the Match after being one of the key factors in his team's victory over Lille.
Bantaloni praised his player's performance during the post-match press conference, saying: “I am very happy for Amoura, he is an amazing player and was crucial today. He has the qualities that make him a threat to opposing defenses.”
The Nice coach added: “He still has more to offer, and what we expect from him, he is an extremely essential player for us.”
