Bourbaki to Miss Match Against Paris Saint-Germain Due to Injury

Le Mans has received a significant blow ahead of their eagerly awaited match against Paris Saint-Germain, as it has been confirmed that young Algerian international Aïdel Bourbaki will miss the game scheduled for Saturday at the Parc des Princes, kicking off at 20:45.

Bourbaki, who is 21 years old, sustained an ankle injury during his first appearance with the national team in a friendly match against Niger, which ended with a 2-1 victory for the "Greens."

The Le Mans player came on as a substitute in that match but felt pain in his ankle and requested to be substituted, even though he continued to play until the final whistle.

According to French newspaper L'Équipe, based on information from Foot Mercato that broke the news, Bourbaki will be sidelined for several days. This has led him to officially announce his inability to participate against Paris Saint-Germain, pending medical examinations that will determine the exact length of his absence.

Bourbaki's absence comes at an inconvenient time for a player who started the season impressively with Le Mans, having scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists, earning him significant praise. He has been selected in the league's Team of the Week on two occasions.
