A tense and uncertain atmosphere prevails in Lubumbashi as the CAF Champions League second preliminary round match approaches. The Tunisian team Club Africain, led by coach Maher Kanzari, missed the pre-match press conference originally scheduled for this Friday ahead of their clash against TP Mazembe.

This notable absence has caused confusion within the organization. The CAF delegation, which was also not present at the scheduled meeting at 11:30 AM at the Kamalondo Stadium, had to intervene urgently to manage this logistical and regulatory issue.

Due to this failure to adhere to the official media protocols of the competition, CAF has imposed a new ultimatum on the Tunisian club. The continental body has set a new deadline of 2:30 PM for the holding of this pre-match press conference.

If there is a second refusal or absence noted at this new time, Club Africain could face severe financial and disciplinary sanctions from the Confederation of African Football. Supporters and observers are now waiting to see if the Tunisian team will meet the requirements of the CAF delegates.
