La Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo leads at halftime against Teungueth FC in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, taking place on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
The Cameroonians displayed excellent tactical control at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium in Dakar. Star striker Jean-Hugues Eyango Priso opened the scoring in the 13th minute.
Benefiting from a fluid collective play orchestrated by Richard Towa's players, he broke the deadlock with the decisive goal for a 1-0 lead away from home.
Strong in defense, the Vert et Violet maintained this minimal but valuable advantage until the end of the first half.
The challenge for the second half will be to preserve this score to give themselves a significant chance at a historic qualification for the group stage, ahead of the crucial return match scheduled in Cameroon.
