Officials at Al Ahly are currently working to market Tunisian player Mohamed El-Dawy, known as "Kristo," the team's playmaker, ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.
The player has been training alone for some time, seeking to reach an amicable agreement to terminate his contract with the club and find another team that guarantees him regular playing time, following his loan spell last season at Étoile du Sahel.
In another context, the first team of Al Ahly is preparing to face Arab Contractors in the second round of the group stage of the Cairo Capital Cup, which also includes: Al Sharqia, ENPPI, Petrojet, and El Gouna. The match will take place next Monday at Cairo International Stadium.
It is worth noting that Al Ahly tops its group in the Cairo Capital Cup with 3 points, following a significant victory over Petrojet with a score of 5-0 in the first round.
