The Al Ahly team intensified their attack against Arab Contractors after 60 minutes of their match at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the second round of the Cairo Capital Cup.
Mahmoud Salah missed a clear scoring opportunity after receiving the ball following a play by Sofiane Benjedida in the 48th minute, but he shot it wide of the right post, missing an easy chance to put Al Ahly ahead.
The post denied Tamer Mohamed Tamer from scoring the first goal against Arab Contractors in the 54th minute after he deflected a brilliant shot, keeping the score at 0-0.
