England: Magnificent goal by Neghli in the derby against West Ham (video)

Camiel Neghli once again caught the spotlight with Millwall. The Algerian international stood out this Saturday afternoon during the derby against West Ham, held at The Den, by scoring the Lions' second goal. A goal that seemed to secure victory, before a dramatic turnaround in the second half.
For this highly anticipated Championship fixture, Millwall started with great intensity. After Caleb Taylor opened the scoring in the 16th minute, Neil Harris's men continued to push for a larger lead. It was ultimately Neghli who managed to find the net just before halftime.
In stoppage time of the first half, the Algerian was perfectly set up by Lyndon Dykes at the back post. Well-positioned, he did not hesitate to finish and sent the ball into the back of the net, bringing the score to 2-0. A crucial goal for the former Sparta Rotterdam player, showcasing his ability to be decisive in key moments.
However, this two-goal lead was not enough for the Lions. After the break, West Ham completely transformed their game and gradually regained control of the match. Mohamadou Kanté reduced the deficit with a long-range strike in the 74th minute, before Konstantinos Mavropanos equalized six minutes later from a corner.
Reduced to ten men after Kanté's dismissal in the 89th minute, the Hammers nevertheless managed to hold on to this precious point. Millwall may have some regrets after dominating their opponent for much of the match.
With this 2-2 draw, West Ham temporarily takes the lead in the Championship, while Millwall drops to tenth place. Despite this disappointing scenario, Neghli will mainly remember another performance marked by a goal in a particularly thrilling London derby.
