Substituted in yesterday during the Europa League match in Greece, Ibrahim Maza stood out.

Four days after triumphing against Freiburg and three days before their trip to Hoffenheim, Carles Martinez decided to rest some of his key players, such as Tabsoba, Tella, Diaby, and Maza.

Against a relatively modest OFI Heraklion team, Leverkusen easily imposed their game thanks to a brace from right winger Jonas Hottman, who seized his chance as a starter to shine.

Substituted in the 64th minute for the hero of the day, Maza was remarkable, creating or being the origin of no less than four chances in under thirty minutes. He shone so brightly that he also recovered two balls in the opponent's half.

The Algerian midfielder, who is starting to make waves on the old continent, saw the official UEFA Europa League account publish today a recap of his actions from the previous match against the Polish side Lech Poznan.

Rolls, nutmegs, ball-carrying breakthroughs, high pressing, recoveries, oriented controls, precise passes, and of course, a goal to cap off his performance. The title of the video does not lie, Ibrahim Maza is a star!
