Exciting draw between Raja and Hassania Agadir

Thrilling Draw Between Raja and Hassania Agadir
The match between Raja Casablanca and their guests Hassania Agadir ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening at the Arab Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, in a rescheduled fixture of the fifth round of the Professional Football League. The green team missed a chance to secure the win after failing to convert a penalty in stoppage time.
The first half saw Raja Casablanca launch several attacking efforts as they sought to score the opening goal in front of their fans, but the team's lack of offensive efficiency prevented them from finding the net against the Souss team, which relied on counter-attacks, leaving the first half scoreless.
In the second half, Hassania Agadir managed to take the lead with a goal from Amin Azri in the 66th minute, capitalizing on an opportunity that put them ahead, before Nigerian striker Matthias Oyowusi equalized for Raja in the 81st minute after breaking free from Hassania Agadir's goalkeeper Gaya Merbah.
The final minutes of the match were dramatic, as Abdul Rahman Ksack scored a second goal for Hassania Agadir, but the referee disallowed it after reviewing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) due to an offside, keeping the score level between the two teams.
In stoppage time, Raja Casablanca was awarded a penalty after Matthias Oyowusi was brought down inside the box, but Adam Nefati failed to convert it into a goal in the 92nd minute, squandering the chance to claim all three points, before Ismail Khafi also missed a late opportunity to score.
With this result, Hassania Agadir raised their points tally to eight, temporarily occupying third place in the Professional League standings, while Raja Casablanca sits at six points in tenth place, with a postponed match against Royal Army, awaiting the completion of the remaining fixtures of the round.
