Hajjam Scores First Goal with Brighton
Algerian international, Jwan Hajjam, opened his scoring account with Brighton after netting a goal in the match against Sunderland today, Saturday, during the sixth round of the Premier League.
Hajjam came on as a substitute in the 88th minute, where the coaching staff allowed him to play as a winger, and he quickly made an impact by scoring his team's third goal in the 90+3 minute, after breaking away from the opposing goalkeeper and placing the ball in the net, securing Brighton's victory and the three points.
With this win, Brighton increased its tally to 13 points, climbing to third place in the Premier League standings.
This match marked Hajjam's first appearance in the Premier League this season, after watching matches against Chelsea, Leeds United, Coventry, and Arsenal from the bench, although he did provide an assist in the match against Manchester United in the EFL Cup.
