Hamdaoui: "I was impressed by the players' reactions and I'm satisfied with Amoura's performance"
National coach Ibrahim Hamdaoui praised the overall performance of the players, particularly striker Mohamed Amin Amoura, during the match against Zambia.
Hamdaoui stated during the press conference at the "Hussein Ait Ahmed" stadium: "The overall impression after this victory is very positive, and I believe we deserved to win based on the course of the match. I am satisfied with Amoura's performance; he had the desire to score a goal, which is what made him feel frustrated, and I understand that because he is a striker and his job is to find the net."
The national coach noted that Amoura's failure to score in the match raised his concerns, explaining that the player joined his club Nice late, which caused him to miss a significant portion of the summer preparations.
Hamdaoui also confirmed regarding Amoura: "He played for seventy minutes of the match and provided the necessary contribution, especially in the first half. His lack of goals is very common because he is a striker and knows that scoring is part of his responsibilities."
