Harith explains his new role at Marseille

Moroccan international player Amine Harith, who plays for Olympique de Marseille, confirmed that he is taking on a new role within the team, leveraging his experience to support younger players. He emphasized his readiness to adapt to the coach's requirements and prioritize the team's interests above personal considerations.

In statements following the 2-0 victory over Troyes, Harith noted that his experience and knowledge of Ligue 1 and the atmosphere in Marseille help him make a positive impact in the locker room.

The Moroccan international explained: “I am playing a different role thanks to my experience. We have a group with many young players, and I aim to share my experience and knowledge of the league and Marseille as well.”

He added: “I have gone through various experiences, but we must deal with the situation as it is. The coach made it clear to me that the season will not be easy and that I will be in an important position.”

Regarding playing on the right side, despite it not being his preferred position, Harith said: “One must know how to set aside the ego,” referring to his willingness to adapt to the team's needs.

Harith played a key role in leading his team, Olympique de Marseille, to an important victory over Troyes, winning 2-0 on Sunday in the sixth round of Ligue 1, after opening the scoring for the southern team in the second half.
