Nigeria's Super Eagles coach will have to do without two key players for the friendly match scheduled for this Tuesday against Russia.
Raphael Onyedika did not receive clearance from his club, Eintracht Frankfurt, which refused to release him for this trip. The situation is equally disappointing for Moses Usor, who is held back by his Austrian team, LASK.
Despite an impressive performance where he scored on his international debut against Madagascar, his club declined the release due to a call-up deemed too late. These last-minute absences force the Nigerian staff to adjust their tactical plans.
The team will face this match without these two talents, against a Russian side that promises to be particularly challenging.
