Farès Ghedjemis continues to have a significant impact on Frosinone's game. After a tumultuous summer marked by a failed transfer, the Algerian international shone again in Serie A by providing another assist.
Farès Ghedjemis once again proved his worth with Frosinone. Starting this Sunday against Atalanta, the Algerian international quickly made his mark by providing an assist for his team's second goal, scored in the 17th minute, allowing his team to regain the lead, 2-1.
The play began on the right flank. Ghedjemis entered the box with the ball before slowing down to wait for the right moment. Instead of forcing his way through, the winger cleverly made a back pass to Romano Schmid in the danger zone. The Austrian finished with a shot, also taking advantage of the goalkeeper's lack of visibility to score.
This latest decisive action comes just weeks after a particularly hectic summer. Very close to a transfer to AS Monaco, Ghedjemis had even given his agreement to the princely club before the deal, estimated at around 10 million euros, ultimately fell through.
The Algerian now claims to have turned the page: “I am very happy to have stayed and signed a new contract. Now, I want to give my best for the whole city.” Frosinone has since signed him until June 2030, following a 2025-2026 season that concluded with 15 goals and 3 assists.
