A hero of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, Copa Barry is making his return to the Ivorian national team. The former goalkeeper of the Elephants has been officially appointed as the goalkeeping coach for Côte d'Ivoire.
Copa Barry will also join the technical staff led by Hervé Renard as the second assistant. He will bring his experience to the Ivorian national team, a few years after helping the Elephants secure the title at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
This appointment marks a new phase in the former goalkeeper's transition, as he is now committed to coaching the national team.
