Lando Norris ignites debate after seemingly ridiculing Lance Stroll in a popular video.

A video is circulating on social media, seemingly featuring Lando Norris teasing Lance Stroll during a night out following the Singapore Grand Prix. It has now garnered over three million views on X.
The clip was shared by the fan account MV3daily on race night. In the footage, the McLaren racer is seen with Haas Formula 1 driver Ollie Bearman while a person in the crowd holds up a sign reading "To the best driver".
This season, Stroll has yet to earn a point and has become the first driver to record 100 Q1 eliminations this year.
Fan reactions
The account that posted the video was critical of Norris in its commentary. "Lance may not be the top driver on the grid but show some respect at least," MV3daily remarked.
The discussion escalated to a point where the account eventually urged followers to take it down a notch.
"Can we all calm down a bit? Everyone seems a little too intense here, and it's evident," MV3daily tweeted the next day.
Neither Norris nor Stroll has commented on the video.
A challenging weekend for Norris
The video emerged at the conclusion of a tough weekend for the reigning world champion. During Saturday's sprint, Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri were battling for fourth place when they collided at Turn 5 on the final lap. Piastri had to retire, while Norris managed to finish eighth, resulting in McLaren securing only one point at a time when Red Bull is closing in on third position in the constructors' championship.
"It was a mistake on my end, and I let the team down. I’ve also apologized to all of them; I owe them an apology, and I will perform better next time," Norris admitted the following Sunday.
Looking ahead to Austin
Norris completed the grand prix in fourth place, finishing 40.5 seconds behind winner Max Verstappen. He currently stands sixth in the rankings with 201 points, and McLaren heads to Texas just seven points ahead of Red Bull in the constructors' championship.
The next event is the United States Grand Prix in Austin, scheduled from 23 to 25 October.
