The match of the 8th round of Ligue 1 between Paris SG and Lyon, originally scheduled for Sunday, October 25, has been postponed to Monday at the request of the police prefecture, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) announced on Friday, October 23. This is the fourth time that matches have been rescheduled for this weekend across all leagues due to large-scale protests planned in France, one week after those on October 17. PSG, currently second in the standings with 14 points, tied with the leading OL, will play this match at Parc des Princes at the same time as the Ballon d'Or ceremony, where several Parisians are in contention, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, and Fabian Ruiz.
