Mazah Reveals His Big Ambitions

Algerian star and one of Bayer Leverkusen's standout players, Ibrahim Mazah, has expressed his ambition to play for one of the top European clubs in the future, particularly Paris Saint-Germain.

In a special interview with “RTL” and “Sky Sport” ahead of the match against Olympique Marseille in the UEFA Europa League, Mazah said: “It would be a wonderful experience to be part of a club of this stature. We all know how great Paris Saint-Germain is; it is among the best clubs in the world like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Arsenal.”

The 20-year-old's comments come amid reports from German media about potential interest from Paris Saint-Germain in acquiring his services during the upcoming winter transfer window, although French newspaper “L'Équipe” confirmed that there is currently no actual interest from the Parisian club.

Mazah also highlighted his goals with Bayer Leverkusen for this season, stating that winning the UEFA Europa League and the DFB-Pokal are among his priorities, in addition to helping his team qualify for the UEFA Champions League through the Bundesliga.

On a personal level, Mazah emphasized that his ambitions are not limited to playing for the biggest clubs but also extend to winning the Ballon d'Or, saying: “I dream of being among the best players in the world and winning the Ballon d'Or, and that is what I strive to achieve.”

He expressed pride in being chosen by legend Lionel Messi as one of the best young talents, considering it a great honor and an additional motivation to continue working hard.

The Algerian international is having a standout start to the season with Leverkusen, having scored four goals and provided three assists in 12 matches across all competitions.
