Mercedes F1's iconic silver jacket has finally been released for fans.

Supporters of the Mercedes F1 team have been eager to acquire one particular item for quite some time. Drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli donned striking metallic silver jackets during the hottest weekends of the season, distinguishing themselves from the usual team apparel, and soon, everyone desired one.
This surge in interest was not overlooked by the marketing teams at adidas and Mercedes, who swiftly developed a version that fans can now purchase.
The jacket was unveiled at the end of September and showcased on adidas Motorsport's Instagram with the caption: "The jacket everyone has been waiting for." The post has garnered over 160,000 likes, demonstrating that there is indeed demand beyond just the viral images.
What’s on offer?
There are two options for fans. The standard Unisex 2026 Jacket Silver is priced at £220 in the UK and $300 in the US, while the 2026 Pro Jacket Silver commands a hefty £450 or $750. Both jackets are available through the adidas and Mercedes stores.

From a design perspective, it closely resembles the versions worn by your favorite drivers during race weekends. Its oversized silhouette features a stand-up collar and a zip front, crafted in a lined woven fabric that gives it a more high-fashion appeal than something typically seen in the pitlane. The exterior is made of 100% polyurethane, while the inner lining is crafted from 100% recycled polyamide, enhancing both its appearance and comfort.
But what makes it so glossy? This relates back to the CLIMACOOL jacket concept, designed specifically to ensure drivers remain comfortable in sweltering paddocks. While the exclusive team version incorporates cooling agents and built-in fans to maintain their ideal temperature even in extreme heat, the retail version simplifies this without the additional technology.
These are flying off the shelves, so if you're looking to snag a jacket, don't hesitate.
