The Atlas Lionesses will face Uzbekistan this Friday, October 9, in a friendly match at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat. This match marks the debut of French coach Éric Blahic as the head of the Moroccan women's national team, following the departure of Spanish coach Jorge Vilda.

For his first gathering, the new coach has selected 31 players, who are currently training at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora. Although the match was initially scheduled to take place at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium, it will now be held behind closed doors at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, as announced by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).

The kickoff will be at 20:00 local time. The two teams will meet again on Monday, October 12, for a second friendly match, scheduled for 18:00 at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat.
