GFA relocates site for FIFA Women's Football Initiative in Volta Region
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a change of venue for the FIFA Women's Football Campaign scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026.The grassroots event will now take place at Dabala EP Park in the Volta Region from 8:30 a.m., replacing the previously announced venue, WAFA Park.The campaign is expected to bring together hundreds of young girls for a day of football, fun and skills development as part of FIFA's global initiative to promote and expand women's football at the grassroots level.In a statement, the GFA urged all participating schools, officials and stakeholders to take note of the venue change and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the event.The Football Association also confirmed that only the venue has changed, with the date and kick-off time remaining the same.The FIFA Women's Football Campaign forms part of the GFA's broader efforts to increase female participation in football and identify young talent across the country.
