Manchester United is going through a tough time in the Premier League. They suffered another defeat on matchday 9, on Saturday, against Chelsea. This result does not sit well with Bryan Mbeumo, who believes his team deserved the victory.
Manchester United has recorded only one win since the start of the Premier League season, dating back to August 30 against Ipswich. Since then, the Red Devils have alternated between draws and losses, with the latest being against Chelsea. However, Manchester United had the means to compete with the Blues. This is what the Cameroonian winger claims. According to him, the Red Devils showed better play against Chelsea and even had the opportunity to take the lead.
“We did a lot of good things today, we are disappointed with the result. In the first half, we had many chances, which is encouraging. In previous matches, we hadn’t created many opportunities, but it’s clear they are a good team with qualities,” commented Bryan Mbeumo at the conclusion of the match.
Manchester United has 1 win, 4 draws, and 4 losses in the Premier League, totaling 7 points. The Red Devils are in 17th place, just above the relegation zone, tied with Crystal Palace, the first club in the relegation position.
