Saber Ben Smaïn joins the coaching staff of Olympic Akbou.
Olympique Akbou announced today, Sunday, the appointment of coach Saber Ben Smaïn to the first team’s technical staff.
The Akbou management stated that Ben Smaïn has been appointed as an assistant to coach Abdelkader Omarani, in preparation for the current football season 2026-2027.
The Bejaia team emphasized the importance of the new member in its technical staff, who has extensive experience in Algerian football.
Ben Smaïn has previously managed the national teams for both the U17 and U20 categories.
He has also led several clubs as head coach, including Mouloudia Saida, CR Belouizdad, and Al Ahli Saudi, in addition to his experience as an assistant coach at Mouloudia Algiers and USM Alger.
