Cairo Capital Cup Format
The Cairo Capital Cup features 20 clubs representing the teams competing in the Egyptian Premier League for the 2026-2027 season.
The 20 teams are divided into 4 groups, with each group containing 5 clubs. Each team plays 4 matches during the group stage, with one team from each group having a bye in each round.
The top team and the runner-up from each group qualify for the quarter-finals, and the tournament continues in a knockout format until the final match.
The knockout rounds are played in a home-and-away format in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, according to the approved regulations for the competition.
