Chikha continues to score goals and strengthens his position as the top scorer in the Norwegian league
Algerian striker Chikha continued his scoring brilliance with Rosenborg in Norway, netting his team's only goal in a match against Sandefjord on Saturday, during the 23rd round of the Norwegian league.
Chikha opened the scoring early, converting a penalty in the fifth minute to give his team the lead, before the opponent equalized in the 73rd minute, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
The Algerian forward played the entire match, raising his tally to 14 goals and 3 assists in 22 matches across all competitions this season, with a total of 1859 minutes played, continuing to deliver strong performances and leading the scoring chart in the Norwegian league.
Meanwhile, Rosenborg increased their points to 34, placing them fifth in the overall standings, with one match in hand, and just two points behind the position qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League, keeping them in the race for one of the European spots.
