Medhat Abdel Hadi's mother passed away in the past hours after a battle with illness, and the former Zamalek star announced her death on his official Facebook page.
The funeral prayer for the deceased was held at Musab Ibn Umair Mosque next to the family home in the Al-Amiriya area, before the condolence ceremony at Al-Hamdiya Al-Shazili Mosque.
