“The Leader” Takes Action Against Counterfeit Jersey Sellers

Algerian club CR Belouizdad has urged its fans not to purchase jerseys and products bearing the name “The Leader” and its logo unless they are officially licensed by the club.

The management of the amateur club CR Belouizdad stated in a press release issued yesterday that it has begun monitoring all parties involved in the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of jerseys.

This move comes amid delays in the arrival of the new official jerseys to the market, which some parties have exploited to promote counterfeit jerseys.

In this context, the club's management clarified that this delay is due to legal and regulatory procedures related to imports from China.

At the same time, it emphasized that this delay does not justify the exploitation of the name and identity of CR Belouizdad without authorization.

The club confirmed that it has begun legal actions against the parties suspected of involvement, relying on laws related to trademark protection and consumer rights, revealing an initial list of seven stores and commercial accounts under investigation.

The management of CR Belouizdad noted that the list remains provisional, pending the completion of the verification process and identification of other involved parties, asserting its right to pursue anyone found to be implicated.
