Mohamed Raafat, a player from our national team born in 2007, suffered a head injury during the match. The player underwent necessary medical examinations under the supervision of Dr. Hajjaj Hani Al-Antabli, head of the medical staff for the youth team, which confirmed that his health condition is stable.
Dr. Hajjaj Hani Al-Antabli stated that the player is currently in good and stable condition, and he will be monitored medically according to the approved protocol for managing concussion injuries, based on the medical assessment and requirements for a safe return to participation.
The Egypt U-20 team, led by coach Wael Riyad, began its journey in the North African U-20 qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations with a deserved victory over the Libyan team, winning 2-0 at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia.
