The payment of Al Ahly players is set to be halted, with expected penalties following the draw against Al Qanah.

Sports journalist Ibrahim Abdel Jawad revealed that there is discontent within the management of Al Ahly following the disappointing draw the team achieved against Al Qanah.

The match between Al Ahly's first football team, led by coach Hussein Amouta, and Al Qanah, managed by Abdel Nasser Mohamed, ended in a 3-3 draw. The encounter took place this evening at Cairo Stadium as part of the seventh round of the Premier League.

Al Ahly opened the scoring with a goal from Omar Al Saai in the 18th minute, but Al Qanah managed to equalize due to a defensive error. Ashraf Bencherki then restored Al Ahly's lead by scoring the second goal in the 43rd minute, only for Al Qanah to equalize again and take the lead with their third goal, before Ashraf Dari scored the equalizer in stoppage time.

According to Abdel Jawad's statements on his media program, the club's management is seriously considering activating the penalty regulations and suspending players' dues in the coming hours as a firm message to enforce discipline and quickly return to winning ways before facing critical challenges in various competitions.

Al Ahly Management Reaffirms Confidence in Hussein Amouta

In a related context, Abdel Jawad confirmed on the program "Malab On" that there is full confidence renewed in Moroccan head coach Hussein Amouta.

Ibrahim Abdel Jawad explained that the management believes the team is heading in the right direction under Amouta's leadership, considering the recent setback as merely a temporary glitch that does not warrant hasty destructive decisions, but rather requires providing complete support and assistance to correct tactical mistakes.
