The Volleyball Federation makes decisive decisions regarding match schedules and coaching requirements.
The Egyptian Volleyball Federation issued an important statement regarding the organization of competitions for the current sports season, confirming its full commitment to the match schedules sent to clubs, as well as the implementation of new rules regarding coaches obtaining the necessary training qualifications.
The federation emphasized the importance of all clubs adhering to the match schedules provided, including the timing and locations of matches, stating that no requests to modify these schedules will be considered, and that clubs must adjust their circumstances according to the approved schedules, in a statement directed to all clubs.
The federation clarified that postponements of matches will be limited to specific cases, including the occurrence of a general assembly, the inclusion of players in national teams, the club's participation in international tournaments, or emergency circumstances related to roads or weather conditions.
In related news, the Egyptian Volleyball Federation decided to grant temporary permits to coaches without higher qualifications for the Premier League teams (men and women) to work during this sports season, allowing them to regularize their status.
This decision came based on a memorandum submitted by the Federation's High Committee for Coaches, which pertains to the requirement for coaches of Premier League teams (men and women) to hold a higher qualification, according to the bulletin and instructions in effect at the federation.
After studying the current situation and finding that there are several coaches without higher qualifications, the Coaches Committee recommended granting them temporary permits during the current season, in order to protect their professional future and stabilize their monthly income, while giving them the opportunity to regularize their status.
The federation confirmed that the requirement for obtaining a higher qualification will be fully enforced starting from the 2027-2028 sports season, without any exceptions.
