The youth national team has designated a day for rest and recovery for the players ahead of the Gulf Cup semi-final match.

The coaching staff of our national team for the 2009 age group, led by coach Hussein Abdel-Latif, dedicated a day for player recovery today, which included training sessions in the gym and swimming pool, supervised by Dr. Amr Taha, head of the medical staff, with support from Dr. Mohamed El-Shishtawy, rehabilitation and sports injuries consultant, and Ahmed Mamdouh, massage specialist. The aim was to alleviate muscle fatigue and restore the players' physical readiness in preparation for the semi-final match in the Gulf Cup for Youth, scheduled for next Sunday in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The players will have a rest day tomorrow before resuming their preparations for the semi-final match, where their opponent is yet to be determined.

The players showed their support for their teammate Yassin Tamer, the team's defender, who suffered a foot injury with fractures during the match against Iraq. He will be sidelined for a period of 4 to 6 weeks, and they wish him a speedy recovery and a quick return to competition.

Dr. Walid Darwish, a member of the Egyptian Football Association's board and head of the delegation overseeing the team, took the opportunity to congratulate the coaching staff and players, urging everyone to continue achieving victories and strong performances to make the most of their participation in the tournament.
