Transfer News: It’s official, Bennacer has finally signed his contract!

Without a club for just over a month, Ismaël Bennacer has finally found a new playing ground!
The 28-year-old Algerian international midfielder, who is no longer under contract with AC Milan after spending 7 seasons at the prestigious Italian club and playing 174 Serie A matches, was free to choose his destination, but negotiations took time.
After a final loan at Dinamo Zagreb, where his performance was mixed and a series of injuries sidelined him for several months, causing him to miss the World Cup, Bennacer was in search of a new challenge.
His name had been circulating for some time in connection with Qatari clubs, especially since he has been receiving treatment for years at the Aspetar center in Doha. He was recently spotted in the stands during a cup match alongside Adam Ounas.
Ultimately, he joins the latter by also signing with Al Gharafa, where another Algerian international, Yacine Brahimi, has long been playing. Al Gharafa, which finished third in the league, is participating in the AFC Champions League and will face Saudi Arabian champions Al Hilal starting tomorrow.
The duration of Ismaël Bennacer's contract is not yet known, as he is set to celebrate his 29th birthday in December, but it is possible that this will be one of the player's last contracts as he aspires to regain the level that once placed him among the best in his position in the world.
