The draw for the second round of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers is now complete. The teams exempt from the first round have learned who their opponents will be. Major clashes are expected.
28 teams continue their quest for a spot in the final phase of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations. The 14 qualified teams will face formidable opponents. Nigeria, Morocco, South Africa, and Cameroon are entering the fray in this campaign.
Burkina Faso, qualified due to Sierra Leone's withdrawal, will fight for their place in the third round against Zambia's Chipolopolo. The highlight of this second round features the Super Eagles taking on the Leopards of the DRC. After defeating Togo, Libya will face Ghana for a chance to advance to the next round.
The Ivory Coast's Elephants will take on Kenya's Harambee Stars, who triumphed over Tanzania.
The first leg of the second round is scheduled for November 9, with the return leg on November 17. The 14 teams that qualify will meet in the third and final round.
