Inter Milan suffered a defeat against Club Brugge (3-4) this Tuesday at San Siro in a thrilling Champions League match. Although Ange-Yoan Bonny scored in the final minutes, the Italians could not avoid the loss. Nicolò Tresoldi, who netted a hat-trick, and Carlos Forbs, who provided three assists, were key to the Belgian success.

After a dynamic start, Club Brugge opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a penalty converted by Tresoldi, following a foul by Hakan Çalhanoğlu on Carlos Forbs. Inter responded with several attacks but had to wait until the 44th minute to equalize. Well assisted by Federico Dimarco after a nice combination with Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martínez found the back of the net to restore parity before halftime (1-1).

Upon resumption, the Belgians capitalized on Inter's defensive errors to extend their lead. In the 63rd minute, Carlos Forbs took advantage of a mix-up between goalkeeper Josep Martínez and his defense to set up Tresoldi for his second goal. The forward completed his hat-trick in the 74th minute by converting a ball cleared by the Spanish keeper. Lautaro Martínez reduced the deficit in the 81st minute, but Romeo Vermant, assisted by Forbs, restored a two-goal advantage for Club Brugge in the 87th.

Substituted in shortly before, Ange-Yoan Bonny reignited Milanese hopes by scoring Inter's third goal in the 90+3rd minute, following a fine combination with Lautaro Martínez and Aleksandar Stanković. Despite this late response, the Nerazzurri could not equalize. Club Brugge ultimately triumphed 4-3 at San Siro, in a match where Tresoldi's realism and Forbs' efficiency proved decisive. For Inter, Bonny's goal was not enough to avoid a bitterly felt defeat.
