In the final matchday of the group stage of the UFOA-A U17 tournament in Senegal, Mali and Guinea faced off in a crucial clash for qualification in Group B.
Starting with high intensity, the Eagles of Mali surprised their opponents in the 2nd minute with an early goal from Adama Keita. Awakened but not defeated, the Guineans gradually took control of the match and equalized in the 32nd minute with a superb free kick from Salif Camara.
Despite this Guinean equalizer, the current score favors Mali. The 1-1 result allows the Malians to maintain their second qualifying position, while the Sily National finds itself, at this stage, virtually eliminated from the competition.
Everything is still to play for in a second half that promises to be explosive at the Lat-Dior Stadium. Guinea has no choice but to attack relentlessly to secure the victory, facing a Malian defense determined to preserve its precious ticket to the next round.
