CR Belouizdad Fans Demand African Super Cup from Their Players
CR Belouizdad fans made sure to support their players and boost their morale during the team's final training session held this morning, Tuesday, at the 5 July Stadium annex.
This came ahead of the club's delegation departure to Pretoria, South Africa, in preparation for their match against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium next Sunday, as part of the African Super Cup.
The fans took the opportunity during the training to send a clear message to the players, urging them to return with the African trophy and add a fourth continental title to the club's collection, which would allow them to adorn the club's emblem with a new star and continue writing history.
The fans recalled the experience of 2023 when the team won the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Tanzania's Young Africans and the African Super Cup after beating Egypt's Al Ahly, expressing their hope to replicate this achievement this season.
CR Belouizdad aims to reclaim its continental titles after winning the CAF Confederation Cup last season against Egypt's Zamalek, making the match against Sundowns on Sunday a new opportunity to add another African title to the club's record.
