Video: Gouiri Scores Stunning Goal Against Maaza in the Europa League
Algerian international Amine Gouiri led Olympique Marseille to a valuable victory against Bayer Leverkusen, which features his compatriot Ibrahim Maaza, in a match held at the BayArena as part of the Europa League.
Gouiri scored the only goal of the match with a brilliant execution in the 77th minute, skillfully maneuvering past the German defenders before firing the ball into the precise corner, securing a deserved win for his team.
The match also saw the impressive performance of fellow Algerian international Hichem Abdelli, who delivered a standout display in midfield, further solidifying his growing position in the "L'OM" lineup with his movements and contributions to build-up play.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Maaza played a key role for Bayer Leverkusen, performing well despite his team's inability to equalize against Marseille.
The strong performances of the Algerian trio Gouiri, Abdelli, and Maaza reflect positive signs for the national team, which is preparing for its upcoming camp on November 9 ahead of two matches against Togo.
