Williams offers an exclusive glimpse into Alex Albon's life beyond Formula 1.

"We're having breakfast this morning and then heading to play some padel. I wouldn’t be surprised if we run into some F1 drivers there," Albon shared with the camera as he and Muni enjoyed coffee at a café. "It's late. It's 10:45. Most F1 drivers have just woken up, so they might still be in bed, but we’ll see."

"You’ll find this funny. Yesterday, we were driving to a different breakfast spot, a new place that just opened in Monaco. As we were driving, we found ourselves right behind Carlos [Sainz]. We ended up going to the same spot.

"So we had breakfast with Carlos. Lando [Norris] arrived separately, and Gabi Bortoleto also showed up, and George [Russell] was there earlier in the morning. So, five drivers—it's hard to avoid each other.

"Now we're at one end of Monaco. The other side is 3-3.5km away. Literally, from one end to the other is 3.5km. I would say half of us frequent the same gym, and where we are now, there are probably about five drivers within a minute’s walk from us. 

"So it gets quite cozy around here. With Carlos yesterday, we chatted about home renovations, furniture shopping, and dogs."

After breakfast, Albon met up with Formula E competitors Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans to play padel.

"I do some cycling, but not extensively. I'm not particularly skilled on a bike," Albon mentioned regarding his training. "That's Carlos's thing. I do a lot more running. Lily runs with me, and we go together. But it’s been sweltering in Monaco lately.

"It’s beneficial for our training since we have Malaysia and Singapore coming up soon. So, it’s been good to acclimate to that."

Albon is currently facing a challenging season with Williams. The Grove team arrived with an overweight car for pre-season testing and missed the private test in Barcelona entirely. He is currently positioned 17th in the drivers' standings with five points.
