Zamalek is preparing a new payment of dues for player Samson Akinola.

Zamalek officials are preparing to disburse a new installment of payments to former player Samson Akinola, as part of a settlement agreement reached between the two parties. This has led to the removal of the player's case from the FIFA website.

Details of Akinola's Dues from Zamalek

Zamalek terminated its contract with Samson Akinola in 2024, after both sides agreed that the player would waive $700,000 of his dues, with the remaining amount to be paid in installments over 12 months at a rate of $50,000 per month.

Hussein El-Sayed, a member of Zamalek's board of directors, is contributing to the payment of the player's due installments, according to the agreement reached between the two parties. However, the club has delayed some payments recently, prompting Samson Akinola to turn to FIFA to claim his financial rights.

Zamalek successfully paid one of the player's due installments last June as part of the steps to implement the settlement agreement and resolve the issue definitively, with the second installment set to be disbursed in the coming days.
