Zamalek's match against Tunisian club Africain postpones the planting of winter seeds at Cairo Stadium.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports is seeking approval to postpone the planting of winter seeds at Cairo International Stadium, in order to allow Zamalek to play their match against Tunisian club Africain at the venue, as part of the first round of the group stage in the CAF Champions League.
This move comes in response to Zamalek's request to host the match at Cairo Stadium, after the club sent an official letter to the stadium authority requesting to hold the game scheduled for 6 PM on Saturday, November 28.
Zamalek receives assurances from the Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding the postponement of planting works
Zamalek officials have received confirmations from the Ministry of Youth and Sports about the postponement of planting works, paving the way for the match to be held at Cairo Stadium and giving the team the opportunity to play their first group stage match in front of their fans at their usual home ground.
Zamalek hopes to finalize the match arrangements in the coming period, especially since this encounter marks the beginning of their journey in the group stage, which also includes Tunisian Africain, Tanzanian Young Africans, and Algerian Mouloudia.
