Jaouen Hadjam continues to make the most of every opportunity he gets with Brighton. Although he has seen limited action since the season began, the Algerian international is taking advantage of his time on the pitch to demonstrate that he can be a valuable asset on the left flank.

Hadjam took advantage of his starting role in the Europa Conference to remind everyone that he can offer much more to Brighton. Positioned on the left side against FK Jablonec (0-0), the Algerian international delivered a very solid performance, excelling both defensively and in his forward movements. He played for 86 minutes before being substituted by Ferdi Kadioglu towards the end of the match.

This is an encouraging performance for a player who has had limited exposure since arriving in England. With Brighton, Hadjam has amassed just 171 minutes across four appearances in all competitions, yet he has already recorded one goal and one assist. He notably scored just minutes after coming on against Sunderland in the Premier League, and later provided an assist in the League Cup match against Manchester United.

His output is particularly noteworthy given his limited playing time. Against Jablonec, Hadjam also took some offensive chances while contributing to the territorial control of the Seagulls, who dominated possession but struggled to break through.

Meanwhile, Brighton is enjoying a fantastic start to the Premier League season. After seven matches, the club sits in 3rd place with 16 points, thanks to five wins, one draw, and a single defeat. The Seagulls boast the league's best attack with 23 goals scored and remain firmly entrenched in the upper echelons of the table.
