Initially omitted from Carlos Queiroz's first squad, Brandon Thomas-Asante will take the place of Prince Kwabena Adu. The Viktoria Plzeń player has been ruled out due to a physical issue. Since the season began, the forward has participated in 5 matches, with 1 as a starter. He will be with the Black Stars for the opening two matchdays.
