USFAS is set to compete in the CAF Women’s Champions League for the second time in its history. The Malian club aims to carve out a new narrative for its continental journey.
USFAS participated in the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2025, finishing third in its group, trailing behind AS FAR and FC Masar. Under the guidance of Amadou Cissé, the team narrowly missed qualification and is determined to overcome that hurdle this year.
USFAS finds itself in Group B, where it will face AS FAR, Kawempe Muslim Ladies, and the representative from the UFOA B zone. Driven by ambition, the players of USFAS are eager to build on their 2025 experience. This drive began with the qualification phase in the UFOA A zone. Despite a strong start to the competition, they had to dig deep to overcome Berewuleng in the semi-finals to secure their spot.
USFAS constructs its gameplay around discipline and collective strength. Head coach Amadou Cissé instills a sense of “military spirit” in his players that embodies the club's identity. On the field, Oumou Koné is the team's offensive hope, having netted 4 goals during the UFOA A qualifying tournament.
